Study in Italy Step 1: Eligibility Check
Before you dive into the application process, check your eligibility:
- Confirm if your program is available in Italy by visiting:
- Verify program-specific requirements such as CGPA and English language proficiency.
- To save time, refer to my curated page: Italian Public Universities List
If you meet the CGPA and English requirements and your desired program is available, you’re ready to move forward.
Study in Italy Step 2: Documents Required for Admission

Study in Italy Step 3: Shortlist Program
Now that you’ve confirmed your eligibility and gathered the required documents, the next step is to shortlist programs that match your academic background and interests.
- Visit Master’s Program Page: Use the search bar to locate master’s programs by entering a department or specific course name.
- Visit Bachelor’s Program Page: Similarly, for bachelor’s programs, use the search bar to explore options. Since there are only around 50 bachelor’s courses in Italy, review all the programs that interest you.
Organize Your Findings
As you shortlist programs, copy the details into a notepad or an Excel file. This will help you keep track of the programs and universities you’re interested in.
Example Shortlist: Let’s say you have a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Here’s how you might organize your findings:
Course | University |
Business Administration | University of Rome “Tor Vergata” |
Global Economy and Business | University of Cassino |
International Business | University of Verona |
International Management and Marketing | University of Bergamo |
Once your data is organized, you’ll have a clear idea of where to apply.
Study in Italy Step 4: University Admission Dates
Now that you’ve listed your programs and universities, it’s time to check whether the admissions are open.
To make it easier for you, I’ve compiled a list of Italian public universities with:
- (Expected) Admission Dates: Based on the current or previous year.
- (Expected) Deadlines: When available, or estimated based on past year.
Here’s an example:
Course | University | Admission Date | Deadline |
Business Administration | University of Rome “Tor Vergata” | 1 Feb 2025 | 31 May 2025 |
Global Economy and Business | University of Cassino | 13 Feb 2025 | 30 Apr 2025 |
International Business | University of Verona | 1 Mar 2025 | 30 Mar 2025 |
International Management and Marketing | University of Bergamo | 1 Jan 2025 | 31 Jan 2025 |
Pro Tip: Always prioritize universities with the nearest deadlines, like in this case, University of Bergamo requires submission by 31 Jan 2025.
